Text Box: A mission team of three from “Cristo vive” Church, Madrid, Spain, came to visit our church this month, on 16 July. Ron Anderson (Mission leader), Javier and Sylvia came for a twofold purpose: a) to teach a 5-day Spanish crash course, and b) to become more acquainted with our church’s activities and visions, as well as to create long-term relationships with the brothers and sisters of our church.

Text Box: The Spanish course started on 18 July, with the participation of some 20 students of the Victory School, most of them already students of English at our Course Center. Albanians love Spanish because of the Soap movies, so it was easy to understand each other!

The students learnt a lot from this course, and created strong relationships with the team. Courses like this always create ground for evangelism, (as this is the main purpose of Victory School, evangelizing people in the most effective way), and the team members were able to share their testimonies with the students after the lessons.

Text Box: Sylvia, Javier and Ron also spoke in several meetings organized by the church during their visit. They spoke at women’s meetings, where Sylvia shared her testimony and a few encouraging insights from the Scriptures; at men’s meetings where Javier encouraged the brethren to walk in the Lord notwithstanding the pain in our life; and at our Sunday church servicText Box: e where Ron preached from the Word.

We just want to thank the Lord for opportunities of this kind, where teams from churches come to share in the work of the Lord in Lushnja. We need partners in the ministry and the visions that we have, which is one of the reasons the team came from Spain.
