On Friday, on May 23 2008, “Rruga e Paqes” Church, organized the certificate ceremony for Disabled People.
Since October 2007, nine disabled people followed the English and Computer Course on
Microsoft Word and Excel programs.

Our first aim was that through our love and devotion to share the Gospel with them, and to give them a possibility to know Our God, Jesus Christ.
Thank God three of them are joining now to our Church and Ariani one of the disabled people accepted Jesus in his life.

Another important aim is to give them a chance to integrate in our society, like a part of it. By learning to use a computer and speak English they are able to work in different positions, by their healthy abilities.

To make this sensibilisation more touchable we invited in our ceremony some of the people in charge of employment in our town, as the Director of the Employment Office, the Chef of the Commune in our town, two represents from Foundation “God loves Albania”, and some missioners that work in our town etc. 

To prepare them for the life is an important part, but preparing the society to accept them without a bad mentality is also very important, especially in our country, where these people had been hidden for years and years, because of the shyness from others.

So our church cooperated with a public school in our town. We want to make children and youth aware that these people are a part of society, they need our love, our care, our support, and not our mercy.

During the ceremony each of them shared his testimony about this project, by thanking our Foundation for its devotion and possibilities it gave them. The students had some questions for disabled people and they made questions about their life and their dreams.
It was a friendly and warm atmosphere.

The inviters after thanked the Foundation for these first and really serious project with disabled people, promised to help them find a job for them that is suitable to their abilities.
