The “Way of Peace” Evangelical Church, Lushnja, experienced God’s grace and blessing as they celebrated Christmas. At least 120 people, believers and nonbelievers, came to our service, much more than any other year! And this was not a coincidence.

These last months the believers of our church, divided into several study groups, have attended a Bible study on how to make disciples (part of the BILD program). One of the main topics was “How to make our home a mission center”, as we read in Acts 10. After we studied the passage, we prayed and every believer understood that wherever we are, we are God’s missionaries. Our mission begins with our family, neighbors and friends. As we all prayed, every believer came up with a list of the people that he/she was going to invite to his/her home and they set a fixed time for the meeting.

During these months, we have been praying for every single person that was supposed to come to this meeting. Then the deacons were appointed to take part in all these evangelical meetings.

God led us to share the gospel with Muslims, orthodox, and atheists alike, with those who know that there is a God, but don’t know anything about him. We shared the gospel with those people that reach for God only when they have problems and with those that were eager to learn more about our Lord.

We prayed for every person we met in these meetings and laid before God their weaknesses and what stopped them from coming to church. God worked in the hearts of some of these people and they came to church even before Christmas day.

But, we saw God’s miracle on Christmas day. The people that our believers had talked to came and we saw in their faces their desire to come again. Please pray for these people that they may receive Christ in their heart.

This Christmas our church gave praise to God for what he is doing through us in reaching the lost.
