 People in our church have been praying for a ministry with the disabled people for a long time. In the Lushnja region, there are many people whose life is stuck to a wheelchair. Disabled people in Albania are not a respected group in our society. Their families close them inside their homes and don’t let them go out because they are emabarrased by them. So there is no chance they have a job or a social life.
 Through “Hope for Albania” Foundation we were able to find 70 wheelchairs and gave them away to people who couldn’t get out of bed because they lacked one. While giving them a wheelchair, we shared our Christian love and the gospel with them.
 We continued to pray and God opened doors to ministry to these people. God led us to their needs and we figured out that what these people need more is to be integrated in the society. So, our church in cooperation with Victory School Foundation (a Christian foreign language learning center) offered a free computer course and an English course to 9 disabled people. This will help them with their self-esteem as they will see that they can contribute a lot to the community.
 Since the November 1 st, 2007, 9 disabled people have come regularly to the church premises in two groups to learn how to use the computer and speak English by Christian teachers. Also, every week there are people from the church who come to help and socialize with them. The people who are teaching them say that is amazing to see how these people, sitted in their wheelchairs, try so hard to type on the keybord, and when some others use only one hand in the computer.
 Before the lesson starts, we ask them to come early and offer them some refreshments, tea, coffee and there we have chances to openly talk about Jesus, his sacrifice and his great love. They know and believe that there is a God, but their difficulty is to grasp the idea of a personal relationship with Him.
 God has begun to touch them and from 3 weeks there is a man that is coming in the Sunday services.
Pray that God may open his heart and the heart of the others. Pray that God may use the believers that these people may know God in a personal level.
